Also the person I linked to in my OP is a WWII vet. You'd meet some nice, if not socially awkward and anxious people if you ever met a real transsexual veteran from the 70's IRL. Most likely you would be totally oblivious to them if they sat quietly in the movie theatre near you just like anyone else.

What is logically wrong with either point of view? What's wrong with letting adults decide for themselves? And in extreme cases whats wrong with professionals who truly are out to do good vs just earn a fat paycheck, diagnosing, treating, and caring for the young?
This is a thing. Making fun of it doesn't make it go away. Using erroneous and illogical exaggerated comparisons. It's always existed and will always exist. Either way we are what we are.

There is literally nothing normal about having surgery to attempt to change your gender. Literally nothing normal about this. And I say attempt because that's all it will ever be.

I mean, yeah I have a feeling its sort of along the lines of wrong forum>>> rabbit hole that way. But since I get trolled a lot here. I feel like sticking up for myself in a mature and adult way might be of some kind of benefit to society as a whole. And I care about the world we live in contrary to popular belief [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

No, it's not a normal or routine thing. But to those that live with this, it's not always an option to just girl it up, or man it up, and stick with it. It transcends what is "normal" but it is gaining more understanding and acceptance. For that which I am greatful.
When I started on my transition I was very ignorant and probably said a lot of really retarded shit. I hope to maybe correct some of that now.
