I do this so I can keep watching bdsm eyeball bukkake with the volume down even when I have guests over. It also provides a nice lane of floor space behind the desk chair to put empty cans and water bottles and dirty dishes, whereas with a wall-facing desk you would be putting that stuff right into the middle of the room like an animal.

You should try it some time, it makes using your computer a much more sociable activity and prevents an assassin from approaching you from behind.

In looking at it I don't know about that on those hardwood floors its going to ruin them.

I still think its a neat concept but you have to get rid of some of the extras add a straw umbrella maybe some ocean sounds and a skylight or some artificial light source to imitate direct sunlight(keep the vampires in these forums and gremlins away) just aim it at the doors or windows to keep your pasty complexion.

You could add a humidifier and a diffuser filled with salt water or something to imitate the ocean air and a fan to imitate a breeze.

Throw a few beach chairs in there. Then a wall size or projection tv on the wall and only show ocean views could have it changed daily to a different view.

Guy with the sandbox in his living room is going to love what happens when he walks out of the sandbox and gets sand all the fuck over his trendy apartment
