just played the beta for about 45 mins, pretty fun with pals, will be playing more.

Alright, I got to play this for an hour last night. It was everything battlefield is, with starwars.

THat means a VERY immersive experience of what its like to be in a war/in a movie about a war.

So its got what you'd expect from any Dice game. Great sound, visual effects, art etc..

Walking underneeth an ATAT while it slowly aproaches the rebel (scum) base looks, and feels exactly like it did in Empire after Luke crashed his speeder, it was nuckn futs!!!

I was worried that it would be faceless solders fighting each other, which is fine in BF games, but in Starwas, I want to see IG-88 and 4-Lom, Bossk and shit flying/running around.. not a bunch of rebel (scum) soldiers.. So the first thing I checked was to see what kinds of unlocks there were..

It looks like there are some unlocks, but not as many as the SW cannon would allow for. There were 4 storm trooper unlocks and 4 rebel (scum) unlocks (skins I mean). There were 4 guns, that were shared between the rebel (scum) and Empire sides (thats really not that many guns in a universe where literately every character has a unique gun in the movies).

There are 4 Utility item unlocks, again not that many.

Anyway, there are unlocks & skins so thats cool, hopefully they make a shit ton of money and just keep iterating and building on this game, becuse its fun as FUCK.

If you like starwars, this is as close as it gets to being inside it.

I wish it was an MMO so i could just walk into some bar on Corusscunt and some kid would ask me if i wanted to buy a death stick and id just start blasting up and fucking slaughtering everyone and then lol and go to some battlefield and get some player kills.

But whatever, it is what it is, a fantastic DICE game, with the starwars license.

Played last night, it was basically a slaughter on every level.

Will i pay the $59 they want at release day?

No

Check out the little empire dude crushed under the head of the ATAT at the end. Gotta love the myriad of things that happen in any DICE game.

Game seemed awesome but was very clunky gameplay on PC. Definitely seems like a console game unless you have a high performance computer

Game runs really nice on my PC, however, it is pretty repetitive and kind of gets old fast like the other battlefield type games, maybe when more options are open I could see paying for it.
