I've been using iceflame since 35...(45now) on my sk. It's cool procs help a bit decent ratio . More reliable than Oggok cleaver imo

I started with a smoldering brand to get me to 20 - then switched to a Deathbringer's Rod and I am almost 30. That is a very inexpensive and effective start, and both are pretty easy to find.

Remember you're not in a group to add top dps, just have enough aggro with DC etc to maintain it. Hold out for 46 and get one of those I say [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

What do noct blades go for now? A fine 1h substitute at least.

Should try and get a deathbringers rod of a green Jade halberd. Both are cheap and will last you for a long time. They get better with lvls.

db rod is basically the ultimate budget 2h wep

carved dragonbone spear is also a good one, but a bit more expensive. like 5-6k but solid stats, just sucks that piercing has a lower skill cap

I picked up a polished obsidian great axe - procs 42 second fear, a lvl 49 spell, procs at lvl 40.

This has been a game changer for me from 40-45 so far.

42 seconds to kite has been very easy on my HP.

I have found this to be effective on specs in feerrott, combined with the 10mana spook the dead and on oggok guards.

I will never sell this thing - i bet it will be handy for many levels to come.

I paid 400 but ive seen them for 200-300.
