good app process ---> good guild -----> no spies, no loot whores, no guild hoppers. did red ever had any guild with a good app process instead of recruiting almost anyone and saying hey drop by ts? id bet no but i guess u guys gonna tell me "hey, low pop, there are pixels that must be taken" ; )

back during live every good guild had a minimum of like 1 month trial and kinda extensive app process ( cant remember <xanadu> one but i remember it was a long trial ) Im not that hardcore player, tho i have some time wich i like to be effective and do well, ive been on an awesome guild called precept back from lotro->conan->wahammer. They were top3 eu on lotro ( some eu firsts ) top2 on the server during conan prime (wich didnt last lol) and serverr top guild on warhammer also (burlok server?) I know those are newbie games and easy etc bla bla, not everuqest i know. But what they did well was 'a fucking good app process', a tight core surrounded not by warmbodys but by good players, they all got jobs, they got an awesome leadership, they got the job done. That kind of work always beat numbers, be everquest, be any game.

Maybe every self-important guild had such a process, but not every good guild did.

What they had were standards.
