A lot of this really depends on what side you're on. Empire, anti-empire, neutral. If someone actively flames your guild all the time, you're probably gonna have a negative opinion of them! What's really interesting is, when switching sides, how quickly those people you hated seem more reasonable and the people who you thought were funny turn into insufferable retards. Bias is neat.

Also, I don't think Ecoli is as bad as people give him credit for.

That's why I mentioned neutrals. They probably get the closest thing to the real picture, albeit with less motivation to study a particular neckbeard's posting habits than you'd have being involved on one side or another of an endless online virtual territory dispute. Still, Alarti isn't on your side so you can't honestly assess how cringey he really is.
