i played on nagafen when eq2 first launched it was alright i can't say much tho since i only made it lvl 35 then quit.

I played a free verision for couple weeks maybe a couple years ago. Had some pay to win store crap that was a turn off. It was fun, but didn't seem good enough like Eslade said.

Man after eq classic everything else was pure vomit including kunark and velious with the 600000000000 zillion hp mobs and the maxed out unbuffed equipment.

EQ2 was great through EoF. Kunark was shit. PvP was amazing. Dunno who is talking about no consequences but they had contested world raid mobs with tons of PvP over them.

they did PVP pretty good if anyone experienced it during that era.
