enchanters secure kills. having one in small skirmishes easily provides the tactical advantage.

I'm kind of enjoying the challenge of soloing as a chanter. I think I'm going to have to delve into tailoring to make some less raggy rags soon haha.
If anyone buys stacks of bone chips, let me know! The low level spells are pretty rough to afford!
I'm guessing classic is different in terms of solo classes. For the few years before I quit Live, everyone agreed that necros were definitely the solo king. In terms of exping at least.

i leveled a chanter practically naked to 45. its easy to get cha jewelry (and cheap) as well as that CHA rod quest. crude stein easy and cheap to obtain too. other than that just group up, its the fastest way to level.

ench without gear will suck no charisma or hp youll die charming

Wouldn't mass PVP as an enchanter involve being mass targeted by the other raid before you can dispell/tash them and dying quickly without DA or Shadow Step?
