Thanks for the quick info gents!

I'm glad there's a least two competing guilds. When I was playing last there was just one that mopped up the scene, don't remember the name anymore, was a long time ago.

Wish there was variance. Do they plan on adding it?

Glad resists are in a decent state as well, that would've been a deal breaker for me.

I'll load it up on my weekend!

Going Paladin, Monk, or Wizard, depending on what my crew wants to play.

yes, resists are in a good state if you are melee.

shitty state if you are a caster

Sadly, resist rate is not classic. Keep in mind the person calling them fine neither played classic, and mains a monk. Wizards are capable of getting YT in PVP, but 1v1 once you leave the lower levels is heavily skewed towards melee, and specifically rogues/monks. This will only get worse in Velious when resists and melee damage rise, but caster damage remains mostly the same.

-there is competition in the sense that there are multiple guilds that try to kill raid mobs, not much PvP happens and when it does, it's pretty one sided; the #2 guild is more of a zerg than the #1 guild
-there are 2 raiding guilds
-there is still no variance
-the old TMO crew from the blue server just started up here, not sure about any other guilds returning

-the days of tash/malo/blind/root retardism are over. resist system is actually in a pretty good place right now. few more kinks to work out like melee hit rate, epic mage pet being too easily crowd controlled, etc.
Because sub-60 players in non-planar and equal numbers is zerging according to empire. Epic troll indeed considering at least 2-5 of those players at any given time are spies and are actively streaming TS for empire.

zerging = massive amounts of low hp "zerglings" who are easy to kill but in numbers overrun a target.
