Oh dear. You took my post far too seriously. I suppose using real life metaphors and smilies will be too much for this forum. I'll try again.

In the interest of making PVP better (let's face it, that's the crux of the issue for people who want to STAY on this server and not just waiting for the blue recycle) I think strategy more akin to Guild Wars is appropriate. A system in which guilds can challenge one another under fair circumstances.

Obviously without instancing this can be difficult to achieve but I think 3-5 established guilds could be viable to raid and pvp with in a fair manner. I highly doubt this is going to happen as we have have zergnotazerg vs zerg. Not sure if there is any going back at this point but it'll be interesting to see how things shake out.

Sure. I understand you are real bent on maintaining the "people suck" mentality and yeah, sometimes they do, but I still believe p99 can have fair and balanced PVP.

Just like LNS I'm sure there are other ideas that can be implemented to make this work. Weather or not the staff cares about the PVP side of p99 is a whole different discussion.

There were no guilds competing with <Empire>. The best any of the other guilds could do was harass and poach every once in a while. <Empire> was uncontested on almost every mob. If that situation had continued into Velious the gear advantage and possibilities for any hope of competition on the server would have been lost.

It was absolutely necessary for <Good Guys> to be created. Fire with Fire. There is enough time between now and Velious for <Good Guys> to become a cohesive fighting team and to round out gear disadvantages.

If people truly believe anyone was "competing" with <Empire> until now you're sadly mistaken. A lot of people have put a lot of differences aside in order to even the playing field here. The motivations, whether selfish or altruistic, don't matter. The end justifies the means.

<Empire> is already losing dragons. Their unfettered ability to garner planar gear and dominate all raid mobs has been compromised.

You guys are the ones that trained from zone-in. Thanks for Gore. Plenty of PvP happening with YT's going off all the time. Our KDA is increasing after a rocky start.
