Tala here. Firstly, about the IGS, they dropped before the dagger. It was the first item I received. So, no unfairness there.

They open roll for all people who need items, but once you win a roll you step out until others win items.

I'm pretty sure that was a greed roll. No one on the raid said they needed the Serpent's Tooth, so it was declared a greed roll, open to anyone who wanted it. I rolled on it because I considered it a slight upgrade for my off-hand.

When I won the roll, I gave my previous off-hand to the other bard on the raid. This was standard in my previous guild, <Lost in Progression> (Trakanon server).

If you thought the loot decision was unfair, I'm surprised you didn't say anything. You could have cleared this up right there by communicating your concerns at the time in Teamspeak or in a tell to an officer. I hope you will do so in the future if you have any doubts about a loot decision or any other issue you have with your guild.
