When on live did they allow Halfling Paladins/Rangers or Gnome Shadowknights? (not sure if Gnome paladin was ever a thing?)

Halfling racial sneak is cool. That is true, but the real reason to make halfling is iksar hide boots on halfling. Those sweet green sneakers.

Go dwarf, best stats for a shorty, and generally best-ish melee stats. I have a halfling warrior, and I kinda regret it. I've sneak pulled maybe 5 times ever. It might be useful for some KoS questing at some point, but I never personally had to.

Dwarf is the worst choice obviously. Uglier than trolls. Gnome is probably best warrior, if you're not considering the elf races. Halflings are a really cool race but I just don't like how the female models look. With males you get the cute beer belly, but for women it's all hidden by a skirt.
