Do you ever get up in the morning and have super high anxiety and it doesn't go away until you go to bed and you just want to apologize to everyone for everything and you aren't really self conscious normally but for one day it is out of control? I'm having that day -- I've had them in the past and it doesn't stop until I go to bed and then I'm fine the next day.

Anyone else have days like that?

I Have different symptoms and issues myself. One of the best pieces of advice I can give you is to go to a Doctor you trust, talk to them honestly about your symptoms, and ask for help.

It was one of the hardest things I have ever done, and I have never regretted it.

Just remember you aren't alone!

The person I'm seeing has a master's in psychology and said that as long as it is a rare thing, no problem.

Sounds like you are in good hands then!

One thing that has helped me a lot is having a counselor to talk to about coping strategies and just dealing with mental illness in general. This, as opposed to my doctor who is more interested in symptoms, dosages, and side effects (Still important!)

Good luck man and stick with it, I know it can be hard.

Hyperbole and a Half
Great web comic page, she is responsible for several memes you may or may not know. She has a really honest take on depression and mental illness in general.

I feel like this comic hits the nail on the head in regards to living with depression.

The games sound pretty weak but it is an interesting idea:

Video games as a complementary therapy tool in mental disorders
