Not gonna play. I just simply dont see the point unless they completely overhaul the early expansions. You have mages and monks that are so OP compared to other classes it may as well be a different game. You have faster than classic exp gains (slower in the first few levels as no more than 2% per kill but it gets faster than p1999) which means you have a total clustered high end with everyone bickering and nowhere to hunt. Utterly useless unless they put some effort into it like the devs for this server has.

I will play on it for sure. I just dread spending 6 fucking months in classic with 167 people in lower guk. I've heard the stories of how horrible the raiding scene was on Fippy, that doesn't affect me because i don't/won't raid. Probably.

A server locked at PoP is what i truly wanted. Then i got convinced by other people that locking it at OoW would be better, as it would give more content and epics 2.0.

If they go with 6 months between expansions, this means a year and a half before we see luclin, 2 years before PoP. Fuck.

Like i said, i'm gonna play on it for sure, i'm just gonna bitch and moan like a spoiled kid until we finally get to luclin.

I will be playing on this server, but i will promote p99 on it, even though i have never played on the server. I respect the vision more than any other game...even if sirken has problems with me.

I remember being a little kid with my gateway pc my dad bought for me in a gateway store, on my CRT monitor hearing the old midi music of freeport as I went to go turn in some belts.

I remember being a paladin and confused as to where to go when oasis of marr dried up for exp at or around level 20.

I got my nostalgia fix here years ago and if the new progression server will have all the new things like knights having warrior defenses, or rangers having a use outside of a deathtouch then no, just no.
