Hahahaha. Haven't gotten to that point myself on Red, but I imagine it's exactly how you describe it.

I think the HHK goblin groups are the best way to get money from 24-30. I leveled there as a new character on my necro and was able to get the 2.5k I needed for the Circlet of Shadows through goblin ears alone. Also good money are the Misty Thicket guards (their spears sell for 11pp each)
