Seaweed only knows obscure black metal which makes him a terrible source to go to for all your metallic needs.

Send me a PM for obscure sludge/stoner metal though

The atomic weight of lead is 207, mercury is 200. Plutonium's atomic weight is 244, and according to some scientists is the heaviest metal which naturally occurs on the planet earth.

In 1971, Darlene Hoffman of Los Alamos National Laboratory discovered trace quantities of another isotope of plutonium in the environment. Pu-244 was found in Precambrian Age phosphate from southern California. This isotope of plutonium had a radioactive half-life of 80 million years. Scientists have postulated that, because of its long radioactive half-life, this isotope has existed since the creation of Earth about 4.5 billion years ago.

I don't get how anyone can actually enjoy metal. Do you guys like sit in your house and just have it playing? Or like if you are on an airplane you choose to listen to metal on your mp3 player?

A lot of bands that are considered metal aren't as "noisy" as the band in the original post. I listen to a lot of metal operas that can be called many things (ridiculously nerdy, hilarious, silly, etc.) but they cannot be called "noisy" (like Ayreon, Star One, Avantasia (although I'm not as huge a fan of them), etc.). I also admit I like a lot of heavier bands and even a little bit of death metal, so I'm not trying to act as though I'm "above" anyone in this thread. Just trying to say that not all metal is unenjoyable noise.

See with alot of metal, I can see and respect the skill of the musicians in the band and am like "wow they have really good finger dexterity", or "man thats impressive". But as far as choosing to listen to it for enjoyment... I would never do that. And thats what I'm wondering (and you pretty much answered) like when people link these metal songs, do they actually enjoy the music or just think the music is skillful? Because to me those are 2 completely different things and I think that is the same for everyone?

Probably the most metal band I like is Primus or just Les Claypool in general. But even with them, its almost something I wouldn't listen to on my own for enjoyment, but I would link to other people and be like check out this bad ass song.
