I'm curious just how progressive it will be. In comparison to p99, will there ever be a wow emu that is < 1.12? i.e. Original druid talent tree had hurricane at the bottom; in 1.12, it is a spell. Do the developers choose to start later in the timeline, or are there client/mechanical issues that prevent it?

It apparently is practically impossible to provide 1.04 talents or anything prior to 1.12. Similar to p99 the client just wont allow for it. Can't find the exact quote they posted on it but, essentially the stock 1.12 client doesn't visually support the changing of the talent trees. They can change them server side, but the talents will always appear as invalid tooltip to the user. They also apparently would have to give players more talent points and put in "filler" talents to even be able to code it to connect properly.

I dont really know what any of that means but ultimately they say it would cause more problems than it would be worth.

can you pay to win on this server? or put another way, do "donations" allow you easy access to certain items you'd normally be grinding etc?

No, I don't even think there is a cosmetic shop. The head contributer to the project is some investor/trust fund guy and says the server will continuously be up without the help of the community. That being said I believe you can still donate for server upkeep or whatever.

yea west coast here, my routing to EU is horrible and I was pulling around 140ms, no disconnects.

compared to the 300ms i often got on feenix servers this place seems like a miracle.

Interesting....its been so long with so many changes...i barely remember the class balance back then. I remember shamans been OP as fuck. And hunters didn't use pets...that's about it. Anyone bored enough to give me a class breakdown from way back when. +/- for each class etc?
