is the leaderboard where you draw meaning from in this game?

despite the hyperbole of almost every point you try to make, i'm hardly ever on my designated main, and i have no interest in KC PvP.

case in point: you thought Cyren was my main, and that's because I play him more than any one of my toons.

Don't u know man it's quake with elves, sit in dl and port around all day hoping that one of the 10 people you attack doesn't b line for the zone and plug for that almighty leaderboard kill, sounds real fun

Even small crew fights usually end in plugs, only pvp people ready to die in is over raid targets and that's just because of the risk vs reward, not much reward left for az core which is why raiding mostly uncontested

Larger zones in vel should make pvp fun again but until they fix plugging if the leaderboard is why you play whatever keeps you on

I actually agree with everything you said, but I blame large guilds like Nihilum and Holocaust for that, they make a sanctuary for blue players and reward them with the only thing they desire...easy pixels.

If Nihilum or Holocaust had a system in place that rewarded for PvP instead of just raid attendance it would promote a red environment, and encourage more old players from Rallos/Sullon/VZ/TZ to start back up here.

But the majority of players here wish to avoid PvP at all costs only logging in for raid day, then switching to their next toon to gear up the rest of the week.

I'd absolutely love a system where you could earn gear though PVP. The devnoob/image boxes have it and people pretty much PVP 90% of the time they spend online.

The problem is a guild can PVP its ass off all week and then lose and repop day to a raid force 60 deep and have 0 pixels to award members for their PVPing. Unless the rewards themselves are derived DIRECTLY from PVP you'll always have a Holo/Nihilum/etc.
