I remember on red me and two pals wanted sister camp but someone was already there. Well he didn't want to share so we killed him and then the mobs. Cue a level 1 high elf wizard mysteriously training us with dark elf elites a couple of minutes later.
Coined him when we realised when we were being trained. Go Red!

Some people take the "you left so you gave it up" attitude a bit far sometimes. Scene: Unrest Fireplace room gets trained by tower, Necro feigns death, Cleric and Bard bodies are lying on the floor. Two guys not in the group come in and begin pulling on top of the Necro and the the bodies. Naked Cleric and Bard show up to get dressed and the new arrivals gave us the "you left so you gave it up" business. Does being dead REALLY count as leaving a camp? /sigh

I am quoting the rule book here.. so many people give thier opinions when its plainly stated that you can leave the area and return in the rules.
In general, if the placeholder or placeholders for a spawn are being killed, that 'camp' can be considered held by the player doing the killing so long as they are keeping the placeholders cleared. You do not necessarily need to be at the spawn point to call it 'claimed' while it is uncontested, however, if someone else wishes to contest the 'camp' you do need to return to the 'camp' and maintain a presence at or very near the spawn(s) in order to hold it. https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...d.php?t=132299

If you're off vendoring then you're not going to be able to comply with that rule. Don't be so anal retentive that you force a GM to define a specific range for that rule.

Dont force GM's to come define a specific range for a rule by contesting a camp a guy said he was camping if the ph just spawned or hasnt spawned.
