Hey all,
First off I want to say that I made my first character on red the other day, and I've been having a blast (well, I did try out a Druid ages ago when there was the first xp boost). Maybe I'm a little carebear, but the no xp loss on PvP death has really motivated me to try red out, and now I'm not fretting a little griefing here and there. Also, I know it's not classic, but the incentive to add more people to group over the usual solo/duo/trio (fewer the better) is really making this a blast, knowing a class that relies on a solid group will definitely be wanted. My question is this before I get too far into it. I rolled a HE Cleric. On that end I'm debating whether or not I should have gone Halfling for hide/sneak (I know the XP bonus really doesn't matter here). Does hide help at all to stop you from being tracked in PvP? From what I've read I know it at least makes characters drop target on you when it's successful. On a further note, I am debating not going cleric and instead rolling Druid or Shaman because I've heard Clerics get rolled pretty hard in PvP, and obviously soloing when no group is available can be fairly lame. I know people say play what you want, but honestly, as long as I'm a healer the specific class doesn't matter. Clerics do all right? I feel like I'd be able to live forever, but maybe I'm wrong? I'm ok with not being able to gank or quickly rock someone (which I know Druid is stellar at), but I also don't want to get locked down and killed in 2 seconds (e.g. no sow, stun/dead) Kind of wondering mostly about Cleric/race pvp performance, and if they are really horrible - Shaman or Druid. Thanks! | ||
