When you go through and think of the problems the server has had in the past and how long it has taken to get them corrected then see decisions like this it is laughable. PvP fixes, exploits, glaring problems with certain spells/consumables and all of these take little time to fix. I'm not talking about big issues like resists but the minor game breaking fixes that should have been fixed immediately.

Luckily the staff spends 20 man hours going back on their word and having pod casts with girls that don't play the game.

In the end the same old argument wins though. They are volunteers so you can't expect them to have accountability or make sound decisions. In this scenario at least it is helping some people out that are probably crying themselves to sleep at night. Sucks for the others who have quit because they didn't get the same treatment but that's what you get when you play an emulator.

Next they will blame the community for not coming together after restoring one groups accounts and perma banning others.... it really helps bring the community together.

this is just staff (i.e sirken, sorry bro) has terrible decision making skills. They've said repeatedly accounts won't be restored or items restored, yet lo and behold, they do it. No response for other deleted accounts and/or items except "Don't share account info."

Just goes to show again that there is zero consistency and accountability.

it's especially troubling that some of these people who are going to have their accounts restored are the people who should be taking bans for stripping other accounts. If time had been spent doing an investigation in the past it would be saved now because you'd have already banned a bunch of these guys.

Shrug, I've been playing here since Project 1999 opened. Staff have always been fragmented and rarely use the same set of rules. Sirkens the same dude he's always been, not really giving a shit about consistency, he was the same way on VZTZ.

Derubaels fairly new and seems to be more even handed than the rest of the staff. He at least follows the current rules instead of just arbitrarily deciding what rules to follow and which ones to ignore like Sirken does.

To be honest, nothings changed since Amelinda was RMTing like a fucking fiend. Inconsistent application of rules and nobody to appeal to (Rogean doesn't give a fuck unless you have tits, and Nilbog stays the fuck away from customer service).

Of course, I'll always keep playing but nobody should be surprised this shit happened. Next week, somebody will be stripped and Sirken will use the same line he always does, "Don't share your account info."
