For my money, you can't better classic EQ... unless you put out Luclin - Cats on Moon.
This person knows his stuff. I agree. The start of Luclin before the PoK Stones works for me. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Luclin had ton better graphics and got away from the same boring stuff before.

And it REALLY helped out Hybrids a lot. My Ranger loved Endless Quiver. Made them worth playing by that AA alone.

2 teams is boring and will have pop imbalance issues

the greatest pvp games had 3 teams

IMO Teams PVP is more fun than ffa pvp- you have an automatic group that you can rally with, be defended with and usually there are areas to chill and grand or farm that are safe- then you can venture out when its time to seek some PVP...unlike FFA where youll get ganked for the lulz at any random time

4 teams would never be viable sadly

Just so long as it's classic.

Need dat item recharge and classic exp rate.

Anything else is custom99 and you should load up Zek Server on live.

I voted yes, but I'm not sure that I'm quite as enthusiastic as the choice in the poll.

I just started and right after I get the client I'm going to start up a blue and get used to things there.

I love the vehement opposition to anything Red from the plat-hoarding 72 hour fungi squatters who wouldn't be able to take naps between repops

Red has low population due to the timing of its release and the unwillingness of people to part with their pixels (and yes, the Red server is full of assholes, then again isn't Blue?????)

I like the social aspect of EQ and the low population of this Red server really changes the game - however the rule lawyering and FTE poopsocking and cash camp douchebaggery of Blue is completely ludicrous

Only problem is that it fractions an already small population into unplayable levels.

People will naturally go towards the 'cool' more evil races -> good races will have problems finding groups/raids/guilds

but honestly red99 right now where you can AOE *your own group* doesn't make sense. It renders all enchanter AOE spells useless if you are by a group member
