people who lead eq emu guilds do so because of their desire to feel vry important in elf land, and getting people to pay you RL $$$ for items u control is a gr8 way to assert ur authority over people in their late 20's early 30's [or in Kringe's case, mid 50's]. you'll always see RMT going on in the upper management of guilds.

this isnt true, i made a guild just for the purpose to stop this. It may have only lasted 3 months or so but I was willing to do it for the next 3 years. I had no clue nihilum was going to get disbanded like that.

You were burned out and I would never fault you for that. Running a guild on this server would suck.

You did walk off with some of the stuff from the guild bank and have the guild plvl your alt accounts though.

i wasn't around for when this happened, but what lead you to disband your guild once nihilum fell apart? if i had a guild running and the top guild collapsed that would probably inspire me to keep trucking even harder

I'm not going to lie, after nihilum was disbanded I was a little depressed. the fire inside definitely burned out and i had very little desire to even play. I knew school was starting back up and my play time was going to expire drastically so i wanted to give the top players i met a chance to continue playing by joining azrael. Before i disbanded the guild i asked like 8 people to take over leadership and not let it die. nobody would step up to the plate they all just wanted to point their finger at me and be like we do care about your RL or how you feel we just want you to lead us.

Like i said to other people, i didnt get paid for it and i had no desire to rmt.

It's absolutely absurd to me that people think I owed them anything, they should be grateful for everything i did for them.

handed out about 35 t crowns

6 fungi's

3 or 4 heiro cloaks

hundreds of planar pieces.

tons of amazing sky loots.

and experience that will last a lifetime.

I taught them how to pvp and work as a team, It was a blast, but nothing lasts forever.
