Yup, just chemicals, and concentration, if you think its a medicine, maybe too much of it is a poison.

Cocaine, tobacco, and herroin can be bad for you, but in reality do just as much or less damage then sugar, fat, or salt.

So does thinking it is bad for you really make it much worse?

sugar, caffeine, fat, salt, cocaine, tobacco, herroin, marijuana, water, air, protein, vitamins, minerals, opium, nicotine, .....all chemicals, what is a chemical, but a combination of atoms. What determines whether it is good or bad for you is what it will do to you when you have too little or too much of it.

sorry if my inaccurate whether those are exactly defined as chemicals, but all matter contains them so...
