LOTRO for "free"

I played for about 2 months, i expect people to be endlessly frustrated with the lack of space they have if its anything like D&D online. In the subbed version i played (2 years ago or so) you had so many things to manage that id run out of storage space even when mailing my other toons components and other shite.

I might play just to see how bad they are nickle and diming people.

Haha the game isnt half bad really, they have a mechanic thats similar to what i saw in EQII (the combo thing) but thats actually intuitive and easy to use.

But some of it sucks, i remember killing a bunch of angry goblins like YEA!!! like a whole fucking horde of em. I back off into a red agro deer and he kills me in a couple of hits.

If things havent changed, be prepared to see: Young bear, Bear, Adult bear, frost bear, angry bear, giant bear, pedo bear and all kinds of bears.

Don't forget about the Boars! Bears, Boars, and wolves...seems about every other mob was one of these, the rest were all spiders.

If the tech support is anything like it is with D&D Online, no thanks. Every time they patched the game I couldn't play for days until I figured out what was wrong. Made me crazy.

this is the list of restrictions for anyone interested in giving it a look-see. I was downloading it to check it out for shits and giggles but after looking at that chart, not going to finish the download. They are maxing out your gold, at 2.

been playing a little because i was bored and my cousin told me he was gona try out the F2P.

just a heads up, most if not all those restrictions are way outdated.

been playing the F2P, only drawbacks so far are you cant play the 2 expan classes, you have 3 bags instead of 5, and you cant do the expan content (which is all 60+) nor reach the 65 level cap. theres odds and ends you cant do, nothing game breaking, mostly fluff, and even then you get points to unlock it through playing, or you can buy through online store if youre that eager.
