Yeah, it is the right way to do it I think. Especially with the clicky change a few months back, you're like a 700 dmg a pop machine gun using draughts. Self buffed on my shaman I'm running 150+ in all resists though, so lures probably a better bet.

Even in classic a wiz has shit tons of situational goodies that make or break a good wiz and one with skill can make good use of most of his spell slots in out numbered pvp
