I think his argument isn't be should be unbanned but that nothxu should get the items back because it was due to a brute force attempt and not due to account sharing. Personally this seems like bullshit because how did he even get the account name? Also, derubael noted that nothxu had shares info before (something I can confirm as I saw others play him in nihilum).

I think the point you're missing is that server history has a lot of issues with consistency but it also has had many changes in staff. Amelinda's entire reign was fraught with complete biased corruption. In light of that, the GM's are NOW trying to be consistent in how they apply the rules. Clearly the policies have changed over the life of the server but i believe they are trying to make a standard set of rules with standardized responses using precedents.

You were mistaken when you thought that stripping an account was legal just because the victim was not given GM support in the form of their items back. Sometimes when crime happens there is a punishment for the criminal and no recourse for the victim, Enron much?
