Got to agree with the general opinion, if you afk, you risk losing the spawn. Sure, an excessively nice guy might have let you loot it. But for the most part you won't find people like that. It's another one of those "he didn't break any rules, but also didn't go out of his way to help someone" neither is worth tarnishing someones reputation. The best you can do is say "this guy isn't an overly generous guy", which most people would assume anyway, unless given evidence to support the contrary.

How long can you be afk before its "cool" to take over your camp ?

I mean hypothetically should he have sat there for hours and waited for you to return.

AFK Camping - I do not think it means, what apparently 99% of you think it means.

Mage/necro/enc/shaman afk pet killing = afk camping

killing a ph/named then going afk between pops = not afk camping

If i am not afk when the spawn that i killed repops, it is still and always has been my camp.

I had this happen to me on ez server. Some guy afk at a camp, mob spawned, I sent him a tell saying I'd give him a minute to get back. He never got back so I killed it.

Was all nice and legit, I did the nice guy thing just incase.

legit. but Omni, would you agree the camp belonged to the gentlemen who was AFK if he returned from AFK when the mob spawned?

Except that clearly wasn't the case, based on Taluvill's own admission... You don't get to sit AFK at a camp w/ a spawn up indefinitely (regardless of what you think the AFK camping rule means).
