Root rot in Kedge.
And I'm soloing in Unrest at 32 and damn are the festering hags annoying. Breaking charm in 6-12 seconds all the time. Can't root the werebats or fungus men which really sucks, I have to revert to pulling them outside and snare/fearing those mobs if no charmed pet is available.

Once I get 34 with root I think it'll be better. Or maybe I should be upstairs and not in the basement, I dunno. But it's very hit or miss currently.

You should find a warrior or monk mob on the 2nd floor to charm and bring it down to the basement. You won't have to worry about it breaking and nuking you and hags are still a little tough to charm at 32. Unrest basement is great XP when you're steadily killing mobs

Oh it definitely is. There's just some annoyances with pathing down there. Like if you charm the hag at the base of the stairs. The center mob will, instead of charging directly 2 feet in front of him, your new pet... He will do a circle in the center of the room and aggro 2-3 more mobs. There are ways to mitigate this, but it's very annoying.

One time there were 4 hags and a greater darkbones left. I charmed one. They all aggroed due to that pathing. Sad pandas ensued.

Once hags charm more reliably I'm sure it will speed up a bit. Currently it's sort of hit or miss. And live mobs throw a wrench in things since you can't root em for charm breaks . You just have to DoT em up and hope they die before your pet.
