You get on their list and wait your turn... if they have need of you anyway. You hang around groups, you trip into peoples outgoing/returning trains and wipe their group. Unrest MR is probably the worst place to hang around doing that, should be asked to leave hehe. If you are not in the basement group, then you should clear the area, period. Maybe unrest wall for yard trash or the lake in MM, other than that it's putting groups at risk imo.

edit: in fact, I don't even go to those places during peak anymore. Too many people wandering around being were they should not be, stirring up needless trains. Then you see those Unrest mobs just crazy training all around, all sporadic, attacking everyone, because some goof wanted to run around by himself doing whatever. Either sport proper cammo or stay in the safe area, really, do us all that favor.

To be fair take my advice with a grain of salt. Play how you feel! If you are not going to go around inspecting the aggro mobs around a camp poking your head around corners and shit pulling for a group that your not in & has a puller and you're a caster, then yea prob listen to Daywolf. But wouldn't worry the group would ask you stop doing what your're doing if you're doing something wrong.

hell, 100% of the Crypt groups that I have been in have had a perpetual stream of rogues following us backstabbing until a spot opens, never been a problem, always welcome.

I used to do that all the time! People always appreciate it and it's better than just sitting at the zone line and waiting. Plus, back in the day, I don't remember there always being a waiting list for every group, so my presence served as a reminder that yo, I want in when there's room.
