That's mostly because of the oversensitive folks at Jezebel/Buzzfeed/Tumblr, who would probably say the same about 90% of online communities, but Reddit is the largest/easiest target. But it's not like I'm gonna change anyone's mind in this thread anyway...

Why do we want it to be any larger? Maybe the Red server but the Blue server is fine and will be bursting at the seams should Velious release.

Don't need more new players asking to 'wipe' the server and start over cause they missed out on DE masks and don't want to pay today's current prices.

i'm all for population and stuff but more people doesn't really equal better. do you really think WoW vets will even be able to get into EQ?

-Focuses on community
-Extremely grindy and very unforgiving
-If starting for the first time, you can't really solo at all past level 10(depending on class)
Among countless other things that if you're not familiar with this type of game, it will be really hard to condition yourself to even enjoy it when you've developed a wow-tier MMO frame of mind.

I think this server is more of a "play here because this is what you used to love and want to re-live" instead of "play here for a new experience" because honestly, 9/10 a new player who's only known WoWish type of MMOs probably won't last long, and I could care less.
