As a side note, did anyone ever go to Matchplay/Neutral Ground in Mountain View back in the day? The top guild on Bristlebane (Club Fu) was made up largely of people who played there.

I really wanna do a LAN with you folks on tuesday at the folsom foundry, but it's in a pretty rape/murder/steal part of the city. anyone know any solid cafes with good wifi?

Eh it's not that bad. I live downtown and while sketchier than say Hayes Valley or FiDi, doesn't really prove a great risk of getting shanked IMO. You could always just UBER/Lyft to/from the place so you don't have to walk.

And remember if you were to play p99 at one of these parties you'd need to be on separate wifi's to get past the IP blocking.
