This is reported to have been awarded to one ranger per server after winning the Best of the Best competition in 1999.

It's also been reported that this is false, and that it actually came from the GM event "The Demise of Ghargin Dumblok" which happened following the kidnapping and rescue of Firiona Vie after the launch of Ruins of Kunark.

The item lore ("Bow passed down by the Oakwynd family") is in reference to the end of the event in which the troll Ghargin Dumblock was slain by Lyirae Oakwynd with the bow, avenging the death of her twin brother Loriysn. On some servers, the bow was even given to classes other than a ranger.

This will help. Also the FA had a messed up proc and it did the DD per tic and would stack. We had a paladin solo Gore that way during kunark. Was nuts.

I have this bow on firiona vie server, i bought it from Versihle (the winner of the BOTB on our server) 2years ago, i paid 14.6 mil for this bow and i think it was a great deal.
at level 1 the bow hits for mid 30's-40's at lvl 10 60ish with 100+ crits from time to time, but at level 20 i was shooting for 200+ and critting for 430ish.
