I agree with OP and Faerie. New server. Toned down luclin would be gr8 IMO. Kittens in space! P.S. wuld love legacy time line with luclin available from the start. (I.e. all timelines at once, trailing off into normal timeline)

Also, custom server with luclin content only might be pretty kewl. Luclin zones structure was nice and concise and smallerish world would be great. Especially pvp. All non kitten races can haz start up in shadowhaven. Norrath unlocks later :P Lots of big unused cities. Maybe evils can start in sanctus seru, goods in Katta Kastrum. OMG I'm all wet and warm feeling inside over this idea.

Luclin got a bad rap cause everyone had the wow disease when it came out, and the graphics update was a complete flop, and pvp players especially did not like the nexus. but from a pve standpoint it was fine. The zone itemization was fine too. end game raiders did not like having another VP to unlock. But w/e's there was plenty in the expansion that didn't require the month long quest to raid end game.

I would donate whatever was needed for a new pvp server, preferably teams, and would donate extra if it went through PoP. I'll pay to run the box don't care.

T99 a year into Velious, follows classic timelines. After 1 year in Velious merge, cherry picking the best ruleset.

would be cool, in order to allow people to keep their names/characters, just make it so all chars get set to level one, items deleted, that way people can reroll or keep their original characters every 2 years. seems like a great idea

this would also allow guilds to stay cohesive across resets
