Read the old seb AOE guides. THey involved pulls of 8-14 mobs. Never the 100+ that we do in Chardok these days. I bet this is largely because of what Xex is saying, too much competition in Seb to do those kinds of pulls.

If MMORPG players were around when God said, "Let there be light" they'd have called the light gay, and plunged the universe back into darkness by squatting their nutsacks over it.

I am thinking los needs adjusted on spells in indoor zones.

There needs to be some limit on range.

I remember outdoors the end of spell los wasnt needed. Range went further it seemed, but unlimited is rediculous.

Trying to figure out what is more classic behavior.

H
Range check seems reasonable. Los check at end of cast is awful bc people just fight casters on a corner. I am unsure what is classic though. I feel like you could oor a spell, but memory no so hot.

Am I the only one who read that and thought "how does he strap Clarity 4 on to his hobbit belly?"

Classic EQ is worth reproducing and saving.

Put this server with a cryogenically frozen Nilbog/Rogean/Haynar in a time capsule when we're done.

Then tell our great-great-great-great-great-great-grand-children about it.

After Velious and then Luclin came out, could do ae runs in seb since it was empty. Basically, tank would lead way and pull everything to disco stage. Commence ae' stunning while puller brought more. Once you got several dozen froggies, nuke. Sit and med, then comes the fun part: now run the entire group to chef room, again pulling everything in sight. ae stun, gather up any you missed, nuke down, med, and then once the repops come, whooosh, whole group trains back to disco room.

Was so fun to do that, if a bit risky. If you did it right though, one group could kill the entire top floor, not counting past the locked door.

Once luclin came out, I tended to prefer fungus grove, though. Get those massive aa's fast!

I both laughed and cried the day after this change went in, cause I tried to gate from near the Swamp of No Hope zoneline in FV over to the bank when a shaman frog started casting a frost nuke on me when I was at like 10% hp...

and then the nuke landed on me in the city to kill me at my bind.
