The Gm event started approx. 4 hours before this VS was spawned. Me and my group had been chasing all over norrath for hours on different characters participating. When we got to oasis VS was at 14% and going down to high level players. This is a pvp server so pvp happened (gms never said not to pvp). Then Sirken said roll... You all started rolling including RD 60s who wouldn't use a SOS. The crying/complaints/toxicity only started after you lost... We didn't get to roll the guise but your still not happy...for someone who doesn't care give it a rest. That is all.

bro, we're old bros. i've got no beef with you. grats on your loot. i'm simply saying the GMs shouldn't have made that call at all.

If you wanna go the route of 'PvP happened,' that's fine. But follow it to its logical conclusions if that's how you wanna imagine it -- I looted the stave because our group got the exp and because PvP happened, thus it was ours (Denz's).

If you think PvP over the corpse was even remotely cool, then the threat of being perma-banned by Sirken for looting the stave and not speaking up was pure nonsense.

i care about the principle behind it. it's unethical, and it made no sense. regardless of whether or not you feel aggrieved by my disapproval of the situation isn't the issue, it's the fact that the call was made, that the intervention was deemed appropriate in that capacity in the first place.

I think there should be a GM event that lasts 2 years where the exp is restored and PNP is removed.

Also exp loss reinstated.

interesting that your /who list doesn't include Utanven (or any of the Nihilum that rolled in after his death), who was basically given a stave of shielding.

otherwise, good times were had. just need to be more fair to actual contributors. Thepen and those lowbies he brought, a few other lowbies (apparently including Jupe), and a group of Red Dawn dropped VS.

not quite sure why those Nihilum members were given a chance to roll (regardless of their feelings on the subject). seems like a glaring disregard for the lowbies and other people involved that took all those exp deaths.

perhaps even the GMs take Nihilum's stance and feel it was unfair to other low level players on the way to the event when we came at the mob so heavily with high 50s, but the mob did die by the low level and Red Dawn players there, and we were in the process of randoming it all off before Utanven and his Nihilum pals came to slay the Red Dawn present surrounding the corpse.

the whole situation was kind of poorly handled by GMs, in my opinion.
