I remember on Live a few years ago they did a serverwide vote on the progression servers in which the vote would decide whether or not to move onto the next expansion. Was a pretty cool method. Let the players decide by vote.

Remove global OOC add channels, good compromise. Need something to make the box feel alive. Agree it gets really bad at times and I was pretty shocked by it when I first joined the sever but it's grown on me. Still not a fan of the racism / sexism / homophobic shit but seems to be getting better lately.

chat channels are cool, we could have our own riff raff chats up in game. auction channel would be neato. but probably still have people talking shit in it
