I'm fairly certain I have heard the skeleton noises other places as well. On TV shows, I think.
Yeah or movies.

I've heard the skeleton noises and certain spell sound effects all throughout my life after EQ. I just wish I could remember from what exactly. I think it has been off cartoons more than anything, though I do remember some noises from shows or movies that have the same kind of theme that the show Supernatural does. It's always been an awesome feeling when that brought me back to the old days of EQ.

the show Supernatural
I heard the undead sound on there a couple of times. i.e. in the tower of frozen shadow, if you're near one of the ghosts. No idea what it really says, but something similar to 'chicken chicken slide..'.

On a starburst commerical a few years ago I heard a buff completion sound.

Maybe sony sold some audio assets or something?
