To all the ppl complaining about Pantheon Pledge Drive

You can state your opinion but you have no right to have it considered. It's not a free to play game it's an emulated server, they let you play here out of their good graces. They could be making millions of dollars in donations, you still play here at their convenience. I know it hurts but remember it only hurts when it's the truth.

live was destroyed by hackers, thats the biggest reason people play here is to enjoy a anti mq2 server. while i think xp pots and velious headstart is bogus what can ya do

SOE won't save anything. They will try to destroy the vision once again with Pantheon as they did with Vanguard. They don't want anything Verant related to succeed because a Classic play style does not fit their corporate agenda.

Just a perfect example of being pressured and bullied by a corporate giant. As I said, they only care about money. SOE anyone?

SOE got their hands on Vanguard to destroy a good idea in the beginning. Vanguard will be closing this year: thank you for the announcement SOE, and always destroying good mmos, right? Where have you been Rooj?

Why does SOE like dumbed down mmos? Why does SOE not like anything Classic/Verant related? Why does SOE fear our vision of JUST one challenging mmo? Why does SOE like selling to the dumbed down masses? Maybe these are questions you should be asking yourself, Rooj.

Anyone else had enough? I think mmos are much overdue for a return to a challenging play style.

Not if we can reach out to the 250k ppl or so who played during the Verant era and then quit. *Most of the people who play EQ Live joined after the SOE takeover (Luclin or later)* We can't reach out to these people though overnight. Not to mention some people would play a challenging mmo if just for the challenge.
