Arguments against repops:

1) Tough luck to the other guilds. Either man up and contest or don't.

2) End game isn't for everyone

3) Will result in more items "flooding" the game

4) Seems anti-competitive

5) Seems to favor one guild [red dawn]

Reasons FOR repops

1) Server is incredibly stagnant in it's current state which has led to a declining population with multiple people stating they have quit because of it

2) Due to the incredibly infrequency of resets here compared to live or even with blue with variance, one unfavorable reset @ an odd hour can result in months in a row of mobs @ awful times that a majority of players can never hope to attend, thereby completely restricting access to the game to a significant % of players

3) Could result in higher pop and serve as a catalyst to bringing some people back, which could very well result in bigger scale pvp battles

4) Some of the most exciting pvp is that which is "spontaneous" on the spot with two guilds struggling to bat phone and rush mobs, whereas "planned" pvp is usually decided hours ahead of the battle by whoever has more logged on level 60's

5) Repops are classic, 3 months + of no repops where timers barely move is not

6) Zero long term damage can come from a test run of it

7) Will desperately be needed for Velious where the gear difference can become too large to be gapped in planned guild v guild battles

8) Allows for potentially even a third or fourth guild, particularly in Velious, to rise up

Id totally love to see simulated repops during prime time hours. This would bring about epic pvp encounters, and more loot to make up for the elongated progress time pvp adds to item acquisition.

I think the repops should be announced well in advance so people are ready to go ham soon as the time hits

Lets get some simulated repops.

First of all it would spice things up. Instead of the same shit spawning at the same off hours with the same people killing them, we may have some pretty big battles just like we did in DL over gore a couple times.

That is what this should be about. Sure some mobs will spawn at off hours when most people cant make it and Nihilum will get them, but at least a few would spawn at times when more of us can log on and compete for them.

I get batphones constantly right when I'm arriving at work or en route to work. Would be cool to get a bat phone around 4:30 or 5pm CST about trak or another dragon, that I could actually rush home and help pvp for.

I am not asking for handouts here, i could care less if i ever get a piece of dragon loot. I would like to be able to PVP for these mobs and have a chance without having to get out of bed before the sun comes up to do so.

I think everyone had fun during the big battles that took place over Gorenaire a few weeks back, I know i did. Why is it that Nihilum members are so against this?

Can't get mobs when timers = known

Can't snag mobs because of slow mobilization when server repops and timers = unknown

Previous guild merger Dentists+Azrael were able to steal mobs using current ruleset of timer = known + PvP

Summary: if they aren't motivated enough to attempt with current ruleset when others before them were able to, why should ruleset change to cater to them?

P.s. current repop time sucks I wish they would push it back so I can attend more

I would like random repops. I have heard about this Nilly guild for 3 years now but I have never seen them on since they only log on at 6 AM. I would like to witness this carnage for myself. It would be nice to finally see these nerds in action.

We're not against it. Gorenaire is up when you get home during your prime time...

Trak is a 3 day spawn, want me to tell you how to push timer back? I will just ask if your embarrassed and don't k ow how.

The DL fight was a blast. Why are Red Dawn members so against this?

Last time that happened the zone crashed and Nihilum sat on dead corpses for hours so players couldn't log on without a PvP death. Why would anyone submit themselves to that willingly?

not sure if trolling or stupid

gorenaire is up all the time for a reason, because shes hard as shit. I remember asking you this question when we were in heresy and you said gorenaire is really hard even nihilum doesnt do it. So why are you trying to play this card? be real man

How to push trak spawn back? sure enlighten me, i have 0 ego on this server pal, call me humble rexx. i dont know everything about this game or the server for that matter

Not seeing anyone against the DL gore fight? Not sure where you are going with that statement, at the current moment when i log in after work there is no pvp. i see no raid mobs up besides ragefire which i have been at and pvped almost every day i could on my 51 war
