I have to have a rogue epic weapon at level 9?

I grouped with a couple twinked out guys in Oasis on my epic Rogue alt around level 12, and they straight up told me that they only invited me because I had epic, and they don't group with non-epic Rogues. I thought this was shitty, but then I found out why.

They were really bad. I almost died several times, while the Cleric was full health. And that Cleric had a Manastone.

So really, when someone says you need a Rogue epic to group with them, what they're really saying is that you need to pay 45k to powerlevel them. Worst people.

We can give thanks to the Forum Trolls in their elaborate demonstrations as to the negative impact of extended tolerance of multi-questing certain items, particularly epics.

To the OP:

There are still many people who think being "over-twinked" is a flaw reflective of player skill. While this is certainly the opposing end of the spectrum, you'll find that most people fall somewhere in between (twinked; but not ridiculous).

Not everyone is going to judge you by your gear based on longevity. As on Live (and in RL), there is that self-perceived "l33t 3lite" 5% who feel they deserve the best of everything, including group-mates. No I didn't realize it. It definitely didn't sound like it, and the other people in the group didn't think he was joking either.

Also he mentioned that it was the reason why he stopped leveling his level 20 rogue.

That's kind of funny to me that someone would quit a class simply because they didn't start with their epic.
