Yeah, that is a good point. Druids pay for their versatility in the end game.

wizard = killed first in pvp

druid = worthless in pve and pretty lousy in pvp ( See andis )

mage = easy to level , faster then most, great to farm , killed second in pvp

necro = long casting times, pretty lousy in pvp , pretty easy to level in pve

conclusion? play daoc on genesis ( origins had to change name for legal reasons )

hundreds of ppl to group with , every dungeon packed, frontier packed , open raids daily. Endless pvp and funs to be had.

make a cleric, they can solo undead and people always want a cleric in their group.

Thats why i was nearly unkillable in pvp during kunark to pop, while i could kill almost every class.

Bards could kill me, after they drained me. Clerics i could not kill till i had my vt mace.

Shamans were hard, but even there my best kill was vs zcul during velious in an 1vs1.

Druids are very good in pvp (depends on player and gear).

Sure, i cant prove this, because that was long long ago, maybe old guildmates like nixus or thakisis do remember, but with an decent player you could do alot vs almost every class and cant really be killed if you dont want.
