Depends on the group makeup.

If I'm in a group that insists on rolling on a specific item someone in the group needs, I'll usually roll and let them have my roll if it's the highest. Maybe that was the intention of one or more of the members of your group.

Some people are just greedy for dem pixels.

I am sure it was said... Never assume groups follow anything... Establish loot procedure at the beginning or ask when joining.

I agree with Sadre, its shitty to lose a roll on an item that was an upgrade. I support NBG but "most" groups don't think that way. It's the sad result of the economy on this server, everyone has 1 eye on how much plat is in their bank because Velious items are going to be so overpriced and everyone wants a piece EARLY!

You'll all see Velious release, then wish it hadn't been released in terms of the economy and how much plat everyone is sitting on.
