Take the newest up and comer, Red Dawn. We had some pvp here and there with Red Dawn, but a no corpse camping policy. In fact, for a few weeks the general rule was no pvp with Red Dawn unless they were contesting a mob in a dungeon or raid zone, period. When they needed help against the real griefers on this box, we came to their rescue multiple times. When they couldn't get their corpses and were getting bind camped in Neriak, we showed up and cleared out the assholes that were killing them before they could take rez boxes at their binds.

Jump ahead a few weeks later, their guild leader was talking shit and he and his pals thought it necessary to flood the forum with tears, propaganda and suggestions of bluebie mechanics to change the server and grief Nihilum. Next thing you know, their leader is boasting of our demise and aligning themselves with the same people that have made it their job to grief and troll both in game and on these forums for the last two years.

Thats what changed our policy.

Except the timeline is wrong. Maybe since you don't pvp, you are unaware of what Nihilum is actually up to when it isn't repop day.

Nihilum griefed our XP groups. Jizzar declared that RD would get no XP groups. The Nihilum griefed our XP groups some more. Then RD allied with Azrael. We had no choice in the matter, there was no way we could fight both major guilds on the server at the same time.

This is exactly the way Jizzar wants things, and frankly, your opinion or mis-remembered history is not relevant. Only the wheelchair can control Tune & co.
