I'll take classic xp along with item loot, 4 lvl range and Alecta's resist code.

Get outta the way Nilbog and company, let Alecta do his THANG.

Head mole, son.
If you think I'm in his way, you are incorrect.

I thought his changes were done and don't require any kind of code deploy or server restart.

Rumors were beginning that changes were done and he was being ignored or put off.

I know you want your classic too pal, but I've seen this "let's experiment with custom stuff" out of you which made me think you were slacking on your mack.

Nerp not true. Nilbog's been super accommodating. Some work has been done and is pending patch, but any lack of progress has been because I've been slacking the last month with RL stuff (changing jobs, moving cross country, kid incoming, etc.)

However, adding the XP bonus back doesn't require a patch.

Yeah I don't get why people would want this slower XP rate..... you honestly like playing dead servers? take the "Toughness act out" its a matter of having POP or not, get over yourselves and your neckbeard play times not everyone has them.

Only people mentioning it are those that are level 60 already and spend their time griefing noobs. Their opinion is irrelevant and can be ignored.

Right now the xp bonus is necessary because there's no one to group with and to alleviate time spent watching paint dry solo'ing with no one else anywhere to be found.

Solo'ing in EQ is fine by my standard, but when the zone you're in and every zone connected is empty... not good.

XP boost being not classic is fine to offset the population murder at the hands of other non-classic features running people off.

Make resists matter (and risk/reward for wearing the now POWERFUL resist gear in this system). End root spam based PvP. Make it 4 lvls. Make it classic.

People mite come back 4 Velious, u feel?

personally, i think classic exp is best because thats what i signed up for
during bonus, id kill a dark blue npc, see my exp bar move and get sick
immersion ruined
try again another day
exp moved again, immersion ruined all over
thank god its finally gone so i can grind!!! cause thats the fun part right? i mean theres a server with 1000 people just grinding so it must be the fun part
