GMs probably won't do anything at all, I'm sure there was a post not long about about staff not stepping in on MQ's (be they bugged or otherwise).
Normally, I would be all for burning the scam artist at all costs. However, you have to be some kind of special to not double check with a guild's leader/s when it comes to purchasing an MQ of this type. Let this be a major lesson to everyone, don't MQ unless you're willing to fully accept the risk involved. There is not a guild tag reputable enough to warrant blindly believing someone you've never played with before. TL;DR: A few questions by the purchaser could have saved this entire fiasco from happening. Don't hold your breath on staff returning items and be thankful a guild is willing to pay for your ignorance.

1) Props to TMO (Zeelot) for stepping up to the plate even though they don't need to.
2) Lysergic is a complete douche along with being a horrible bard, grouped with him in Seb a few times and guy is a first class tool. 3) When will you people learn to use Escrow...seriously. Would have cost you ~10k and there is no way he could have scammed you. 10k compared to 400k+ isn't much of a investment for insurance. GL with you epic sir...A TMO Office MQ'd the Guts for my bard and it was still a pucker moment for me. Can't imagine being scammed on it.

saw Kugfuk in /auc all night selling blue items for Red Plat / PL / Items. Thought man, that's like the number 1 way people are getting scammed lately hope no one bites.

Blacklisting a toon is almost better then banning. Server turns on someone, they forced to quit or have a high tolerance. Saw it happen on live only 2 times, when you could loot someone's gear when consented. Both times the toons couldnt find groups, ports, nobody would sell them items, was amazing to watch.

The guy handed in the wrong piece, he said he got the dragon mq from someone, assuming freddi... so we went to Forpar in SF for the hand ins....so we did the hand ins, i handed in my Mystical lute head, and he said he got the piece. so we went to DL to complete, i handed in all the rest of the pieces i had, page 24 top/bottom,25 and hes suppose to hand in the piece from Forpar. I petitioned and tried to get everything back but its whatever, i tried to help him, its not like i ignored him, id told him that id give him his pp(which he got lets just say via blackmarket) back once i hear from Rog, either good or bad. But i spose this the route taken. If this were EQ live back in prime i might have been upset about being "blacklisted" but since its not, ima enjoy my holidays, and hope yall do as well!!
