Usually the sandwich aint that bad, meat has fat deal with it. But for real, 500ish calories for a meal is not terrible. Its the fries that are 1000 calories, and full of just straight crap.

Yes.

Also its the buns on the burgers that make you fat, not the meat...so take 1 side of the bun off and have an open face burger and you can eat fast food every day and lose fat.

Sweet potatoe fries dont taste good dipped in ketchup and I can never get them to be crispy with the same texture as regular fries.

My son likes ranch dressing with the sweet potato fries and it's pretty good. Mine come out crispy btw! For me, I use a lower calorie dressing but he is in the middle of a growth spurt. Skinny as fuck and rapidly approaching my height of almost 5'9"at 11 years old. The kid needs some meat on him. I worry about it.

Stop filling him up with empty carbs. People need protein to grow.

Hes fine, the brain needs tons of carbohydrates when it is developing and if he is skinny, he is metabolizing it fine, not that every meal should be french fries and ranch dressing though.

Brains do not develop on carbs, they do work on carbs. Brains need complex fatty acids and proteins like the rest of the of the rest of the body to develop (more fatty acids).

It doesn't matter if he is metabolizing it fine. No protein = no meat on bones.

Yeah I don't want that. I'm sorry to say there is nothing sadder than a fat child. If mine were fat I would still love the shit out of him but would feel like I failed as a parent. If I did anything to make him that way I couldn't live with it.

I'll be watching.
