I probally put 500 bucks into diablo 2 over the years (6-7) but made a bit of a profit when I cashed out in like 2009. That game had so much replay value and held my interest for so long with the updates and ladder resets. Pretty much the game of the decade.

^^^D2 was simply unstoppable, but, to me, the real magic died with the 1.10 patch.

Crown of Ages is the go-to helm for a zealot against basically all opponents. Special cases can be made for sick eth, self repairing, fools mod rare helms with sockets against conc barbs and other Zealots with insane defense, but then you have to make up DR elsewhere-using a perfect eth upped shaftstop or a Stormshield perhaps.

In any other situation you can't beat the defense, stats and gear flexibility provided by using a Crown of Ages. Defense especially when facing a good Fury wolf that pushes 20k+ attack rating EASY. Gotta have everything going for you defensively to avoid their attacks.
