Pretty sure Dain was a 7 day timer? Maybe 3 and a half but that could have been later after luclin. I think the "easy dain" quaded for 325 while the "hard one" was 425. Don't know if the HPs were different, though.

Easy Dain: 3 day spawn timer?
Hard Dain: 7 day spawn timer?

That seems to jibe with my memory--two timers!

there were three versions of dain, one significantly harder then the other, hp and dmg output.

I remember Dain IV being three day respawn. But, my experience is from late 2001.

Should be with the April 4, 2001 Patch. Can't find any earlier references to these 3 NPCs. Even the references could find, so far, are a few months after this patch as the sites were slow to update on the end game pieces.

Does anyone know how to increase faction with Royal Armorer Slade? I thought killing giants would do it but I've kill hundreds in kael and it's still not good enough for him to change my helm to a bucket

Quest NPC not on list November 8, 2001 Ok in Kael in a room behind the king where the armor quest NPC's are is a guy named Grand Armsmith Korin. He is not on the list and can't find anything so far on him. He is there and he has a quest not sure what the reward would be but he ask for Malevolent Crown, Shiney Helm, Troubadour Helm, Templar's Helm, Crown of the Kromizik Kings, Frost Reaver's Velium Crown, Crown of the Mortaility, Warlord's Crown. Not sure if he wants them all or just one. Some of the helms are a result of Kael Armor Quest some I have yet to find anything on.
Anyone know anything about this guy and the Quest?

If you want to turn in a SS helm for the custom one, talk to Supreme Loachsmith somethingorother, he is the guy you are standing next to when you port into the SS quest room

ain't there another face of dain? Seem to remember that one being the hard one...like eye patch dain or something. And ring war spawn dain I believe did not effect timer, but would not spawn a 2nd if he was up already.
