This shit is so annoying. Im right on the fence of leveling my cleric/shammy up hardcore for high end pvp but its a waste of time if one side is going to just train when they lose. I guess ill just level my blue chars up super casuallys

susvain it's not as bad as ppl making it out to be in this thread. they just want punishment for nillies so they are complaining louder. hoping they get some kinda treatment like misbehaving guild on blue, where they tell the guild they can't raid or some shit hah. So then azrael would get a few mobs uncontested.
remember, it's always about the pixels bro. always

Other times they can be a massive drag. It really depends on the situation/playstyle, size of train, size of raidforce, skill of raidforces. There's just as many counters to training tactics as there are to legit pvp. Fix gate pots and shit so they arent instant and it would be even more legit. Training got really lame with the introduction of instant gate AA's. Another thing. Is not sure how the raid scene is now. But a year ago there just weren't that many skilled Ninjas. And they were all in Nihilum or there were 5 in eurotime and 5 in Vae Victus/RD. Not enough to both run and protect a raid with complex shit going down vs a zerg with gear under the rules at the time which were badly enforced. And the game was a lot more buggy. Now its both harder to be a ninja, and less easy to exploit crappy shit like invis pulls. I had really good group pvp with both RD and NCC members who knew their shit. It's when you tacked on that 20 extra tag alongs that would only log in for pixel night that caused crap loads of problems. As far as the ban from raiding. Oh my god that would blow my mind... Nihilum would straighten out real fast if they were banned for like a month from engaging dragons and shit.

In general i dont believe in punishing anyone other than the actual guilty party like you would with guildbans, banning all of Holocaust for instance didnt help the server as a whole.

Also, you can afford to be alittle harsher on the punishment on an overpopulated server than you can when you are trying to populate an underpopulated server. Guess its a fine line though, since you also cant be allowing too much shit, which will then also keep players from logging in.

just saw the video again and actually watched through it, that was probably the best footage of someone getting caught training ive ever seen
why isn't there any more punishment to people doing this, when it's obvious that suspending a character for 1 week aint gonna change shit, people have a million alts at this point. i know sirken doesn't have full access to check ip logs, but it would be cool that if the user ip thats training gets caught all accounts that has been logged on by that ip for the past 2 months will be suspended for a month or something or.... allow training and we dont have to fraps everything and have this damn thread every single time, u feelers me dawgs?
